Pueblo Andaluz Casares

Vasari
Pueblo Andaluz is located in the town of
Casares, between Estepona and Sotogrande,
is only 30 minutes from Gibraltar and Marbella,
and 45 minutes from Málaga International
Airport.
Casares is a pretty white village
perched on a hillside, which stretches to the foot
of an Arabic fort, one of the many civilizations
to have left their imprint here. It is also the
village where Blas Infante, the father of Andalusian
patrimony, was born.
Its unusual streets, intricate and steep, and quaint
little houses, have led to Casares being named "The
Dangling Village", and the fact that it was
declared an Historical-Artistic Village
in 1978 is additional proof of the beauty of this
Málaga landmark.
Its unique attraction stems not only from its position
on the White Village route but from its proximity
to the historic and beautiful towns of Seville,
Granada, Cordoba and Ronda, and the Sierra Nevada
ski resort. |

This municipality offers the tranquility
of a typical Andalusian village combined
with all the benefits of being in the heart
of the Costa del Sol: wonderful
weather, pretty beaches, impressive scenery
and fantastic food from mountains and sea.
Casares is a genuine ecological
paradise where you can still find
untouched ecosystems, enjoy the flight of
the vulture, Leonado, and the pleasant verdure
of the Spanish fir.
Facing the other way, the area is home to
3 beaches of over 2 kms long from where
you can enjoy sunny, Mediterranean days,
as well as a large number of golf courses
in the region itself and its surroundings,
in the heart of the Costa del Golf: : Valderrama
Real Club de Golf, Club
de golf de la Alcaidesa, La Reserva
Club de Golf, San
Roque Club de Golf, Doña
Julia Golf Club, Casares
Golf, Finca el Cortesín Club
de Golf, etc.
In addition, water sports enthusiasts have
the marinas de Sotogrande, Estepona
y el Puerto de la Duquesa
at their disposal as well as the area’s
extensive beaches.
Perhaps the most surprising fact is that each
year in mid-July, the streets become the setting
for a reenactment of times gone by, with the
well-known Medieval Market,
in which craftsmen offer goods and traditionally-made
foodstuffs.
